The organizers of the 89th Giro d'Italia unveiled the 2006 route in Milan. The 3,553 km, 21 stage race begins with an individual time trial in Seraing, Belgium and concludes with a final dash to Milan, Italy, with mountain stages passing through Switzerland and Austria.
