After a possible lifetime ban from cycling after two failed doping tests, Canadian cyclist Geneviève Jeanson announced her retirement from cycling. "It's over," she told La Presse. "I don't want anything to do with cycling. I'm tired of fighting and repeating that I have never taken EPO or any banned substance."
Montreal Gazette: Canadian cyclist banned from sport. "An orthopedist pled guilty in 2004 to 14 counts of prescribing and administering the the banned hormone Eprex to 11 patients, including Jeanson."

This is too bad. I mean, wasn't it just a few years ago that she was beating up on women's fields as a junior? Winning Mt. Washington? Something is badly broken in the sport of pro bike racing and needs to be fixed reall soon.
