I don't know if this has made the national news yet, but three motorists on U.S. Highway 101 in the San Francisco Bay Area have been shot this week.

• Sunday night: Shot, crashed and killed in Burlingame.
  
• Monday morning: In San
• Francisco near San Francisco General Hospital.
  This morning: 3:15 a.m. in San Jose.

Highway 101 is one of the main north-south routes that runs the length of the San Francisco Peninsula along the west side of the Bay.

Elsewhere around the nation:

• Patricia Reyes shot and killed Monday night in Dallas.
  
• Another deadly freeway shooting in Dallas.
  
• Chris Partridge shoots and misses in Vancouver, WA.
  
• A few years ago, a man was shot and killed on U.S. 36 near Broomfield, Colorado.
