1. Overslept.

2. Got on the bus, from where I saw three major wrecks on the highway. One of them was a 10 car pileup.

3. I wore bike-geek clothes today and totally forgot to bring a clean shirt. Dug the cleanest shirt I could find out of the dirty clothes cache in my office.

4. Hair gel bottle in my gym bag broke open, spilling gooey mess on everything.

5. Stick deodorant in my gym bag also broke open, spilling chunks of aluminum zirconium whatever on everything, and leaving me with no deodorant for my dirty shirt today.

6. Just got an email from my dad saying that my grandfather passed early this morning.

*sigh*

Rest in Peace, John Beryl Masoner. He was 83 years old.

Most of the bad stuff is pretty little, ya know? Good to have the dirty clothes cache ;) Stick a box of baking soda back wherever they're stashed... and it's a good emergency deodorant, too.

(Oh, and I've had to visit the bookstore for clothing once or twice... why do I forget the clothes when I hammer the commute?)

Fritz, I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I'm sure he will.

(Incidentally, I once wore a jersey at work and I don't think anyone noticed. But we're all editors, so we usually don't notice clothing anyway.)

So sorry about your grandpa...makes everything else seem less 'bad', right?
You are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend.

You can only think that tomorrow will be better.

RIP

I'm sorry about your grandpa. Don't give up! Tomorrow is another day.

And you'll have much better ones in the future. I am very sorry for your loss. My best to your family.

Sorry. just go through the day with deep breaths & daydream & reminisce of biking with your grandpa. Don't worry. RIP.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

I one taught a Spinning class in my underwear (it's dark, I turn out the lights) as I commute in street clothes and forgot to pack cycling shorts in my bag.
