I'm munching on CLIF's Lemon flavored "Builder's" protein bar and it is heavenly delicious.
While I have CLIF on my mind, go visit CLIF's CLIF BAR 2 Mile Challenge. CLIF BAR urges people to leave your cars at home and use a bicycle for trips of two miles or less. You can use their handy 2 Mile Challenge Map to locate destinations within two miles of your location.

Using your bike for trips < 2 miles is a fantastic idea. If you aren't using your car, why not divvy it out to your friends and family when they need to make longer trips?
In other words, have your own personal car-sharing program - use the resources you already have in network instead of buying more.
You can also divvy your bikes - track who has you bike and for how long in a streamlined system.
I'm all for cycling for shorter trips (or longer trips, as your fitness level allows!)
