Wearing earphones while bicycling in traffic can be dangerous and is possibly illegal where you live. You want tunes while you ride. One possible answer is this Soundwalk Audio Vest.

The Sound Vest holds your portable audio and the speakers built in to the vest straps provide the sound.

More about this in this video from The Gadget Show.

These have been around for a few years now and originated in Korea. Unfortunately, the sound quality is terrible.

The initial batch (of which I have a set) had no off switch for the speakers, so the only way to keep from killing your batteries was to take them out.

We thank Yokota for the article and Travis for his comment. Travis is correct that our initial SW-501 models in year 2006 didn't have on-off switch. However, since then we have been constantly upgrading our products. All of our current products have on-off switches, and now we also offer rechargeable battery options.

We are going to be at Interbike Expo in September, and our booth number is 6000. Travis, if you could bring SW-501 to the show, we will fit in a new amp-speaker system for you.

It looks like a bra for men.

@Anon 11:21 - here's me in a man bra.

@Travis - thanks for the comment. I plan to take a look at these to see how much they've improved.

@Yong-Gu: Thank you for dropping by here and leaving your feedback!

=v= It's the return of the Bone Fone! How many years I have waited for this ...

Bone Fone is the first thing I thought of too! :-) Just turn the speakers around and it's done.
