San Francisco Bay Area survey shows 7% commute by bike

As part of a regional airport plan analysis, a research firm surveyed San Francisco Bay Area residents on their thought on expanding area airports last February 2009. Among the interesting demographic information from this survey: 7% of respondents say they use a bicycle to commute to work.

Furthermore, survey respondents favor building high speed rail over airport expansion.
