Bond Bike

Environment Transport Association in London built this “BOND Bike” to help sell their bicycle insurance. The bike features a handlebar flamethrower to ward off those pesky motorists who pass too closely, an ejector saddle anti-theft device, and a track drive and ski blade to enable all terrain, all weather mobility.



The BOND (Built of Notorious Deterrents) Bike can be viewed next week at the UK Cycle Show at Earls Court, London in another week (7-10 October).

Happy Monday.

The San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District (abbreviated and pronounced “QWGHLM“), announced a “Spare the Air Day” today because of high levels of ground level ozone caused by very high temperatures combined with the usual chocking volume of automobile exhaust. Ozone was so thick in the air yesterday afternoon I could taste it, and I plan to ride my bike 22 miles through it this evening.
