Burley Travoy maneuverability

The Burley Travoy bike trailer maneuvers quite nicely. Sorry I don’t actually show the Travoy trailer hopping the curb — but I assure you the trailer’s tires handle it just fine. More bike stuff below the video.

“First and foremost, our right to operate a bicycle as a legal vehicle must be defended. From that legal right comes our ability to get the respect we require. As long as we collectively act like traffic cockroaches, we will be regarded as such.”

  1. It does seem to go around corners a lot nicer than my trailer (Cycletote cargo), but it also looks like it doesn't hold much more than a couple of good sized panniers – what is the capacity of the -travoy?

  2. @Sour: I agree and think the Travoy fills about the same role as a good set of panniers. Weight capacity is 60 lbs. I did mount a bike to the Travoy and transport it 6 miles on a narrow mountain road earlier this week. I shot video but haven't put it to music yet 🙂

  3. i just won a Travoy at the SVBC office move (we moved their entire office by bicycle in an afternoon)
it certainly seems like a well built machine. and fold up incredibly well.
do you have the details on where i can get the alt hitch for my recumbent?
also are they yet selling the extra hitches?
