SF bike rampage suspect: Avid bicyclist

Police identify the suspect in last Wednesday night’s rampage against Mission Hill and Potrero District cyclists as David Mark Clark of Albany, CA. Here’s the kicker:

The Clark [his landlady] knew was a kind man, very low key, concerned about health and nutrition and very social. And he was an “avid bicyclist,” she said.

Maybe Mr Clark was exposed to Toxo? More in the SF Chronicle. Props to Kit.

I actually ought to have cited Streetsblog for that little jewel. They were the ones who linked to the article in their news round-up from Sunday.

Strap yourselves in, boys, I think this ride is going to get bumpier before it gets better.

Maybe he was pissed that a few avid cyclist passed him on his sunrise ride (?). Yes the ride will become bumpier as most will refuse to change.

Mr Walker v. Mr. Wheeler in real life? Disney knew our future in making this cartoon in 1950: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZAZ_xu0DCg

…towards the end of that disney cartoon, one scene predates the video game “frogger” by a lotta years also…

…& david mark clark would seem to be a bit more than the usual hypocrite considering the focus he supposedly devotes to the “healing energies” & that's beyond his “love for cycling”…
