Wow, but I’m a gripe gut today. Maybe I should join tonight’s Homemade Superhero ride tonight at San Jose Bike Party.
Ride begins 8 PM tonight at the old Mervyn’s on El Camino Real at Scott in Santa Clara, CA, with the usual numerous feeder rides beginning an hour or so earlier.
It should be fun. Just be sure to dress for the weather — low about 40 degrees tonight with light rain.
If you’re looking for something this weekend, there’s also the Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championship going on right now and through the weekend in San Francisco.

I’ve shopped at and pointed people to Keeble & Shuchat on California Avenue in Palo Alto, CA. They have a huge supply of every kind of photo gear imaginable. Given their apparent opposition to pedestrian safety, I’m not sure I can recommend them anymore.
