Editor-in-chief Ross Ringham says, “In cities worldwide, from Denver and Washington to London and Seville, bike sharing programs are already very popular – encouraging people to use bikes as an alternative to cars, buses, scooters and motorbikes. An ever-increasing number of communities across the globe are developing similar schemes to solve the complex issue of inner city mobility.”

German specialty publisher verlag moderne industrie began CyclingMobility to positively influence both the economic and environmental issues that cities and policy makers face.

You can meet the editor-in-chief and other members of the CyclingMobility team this week at the USA National Bike Summit in Washington DC. The National Bike Summit begins today and continues through Thursday, March 10, 2011.
