These fish ride a bicycle

A fun bicycle t-shirt design from Etsy.

Fish ride a bicycle shirt Sharp Shirter’s Etsy store description:

When Huebucket designed the cycling fish / fish riding bicycle t-shirt, we were going for a Dr. Seuss tee with a bit of Asian flair. I’ve always loved Dr. Seuss designs and saying “One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish” is a great way to settle most arguments. We had no idea of the amazing response we would receive from feminist and equal rights activists across the globe. As I quickly found out at the bike tee’s debut, there’s a saying by Gloria Steinem that “A woman needs a man as much as a fish needs a bicycle.”

In our bike fish t-shirt, we have fish riding a bicycle, so in some ways the tee says you can have both! Maybe fish do need bikes, or have some use for them at the least. All in all, we’ll leave you to decide what the message of our cycling fish shirt is. The cycling fish tee is printed on a tri-blend heathered grey American Apparel t-shirt and comes in sizes small thru extra-large. The image wraps around the side of the shirt and is printed with standard plastisol ink. We also have it in a dress form, and a men’s version.

There is some kind of weird irony in the the fact that hoebucket didn’t know about that old fem slogan. I figured it was a witty reverse psych-out yet well done piece of art.  I’ll say this:  I’d pay for one.  The shirt, too.
