Southern Spokes takes place August 10 – 12, 2012 to showcase cycling in the U.S. South and give cyclists an opportunity to shoot the breeze with industry insiders, go on casual bike rides, and demo new 2013 bikes from Salsa and Surly.
Southern Spokes will be at Lake Norman State Park in Troutman, NC, and it’s dirt cheap at only $35 for a full weekend (which includes camping), or $15 for Saturday only. Proceeds go to support Tarheel Trailblazers and Trips for Kids in Charlotte.
I’ve heard people say before that they wished there was a good non-racing bicycle event in the south, so here you go!

The South will rise again! Just kidding, we’re happy to be Americans and we even eat Yankee food sometimes.
Sounds great.
Thanks for the linkage Fritz! Now let’s sign up people!
Sounds like a fun event
