According to Fallbrook, the Tusken is the first production fatbike to feature the NuVinci continuously variable hub, which offers a gear ratio range of 360 percent. The Tusken also features cutout Rolling Darryl rims, carbon handlebars, and the new Race Face Turbine crankset.

9:Zero:7 — which is Alaska’s telephone area code — began as a couple of bike shop owners in Anchorage Alaska designed fatbike frames. The bikes are sold mail order from Fatbikes.com, with complete bikes shipped unassembled. Yes, the Tusken is named for the raiders of Tatooine.
