Attention SF Bay Area: Heat Wave

The US National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement and Hazardous Weather Outlook for the California coast from Big Sur to Point Reyes and for areas inland.

Unseasonably high temperatures 25 to 30 degrees higher than normal are expected, with highs approaching 100° F / 38° C on Wednesday at interior locations.

You’re probably not acclimated to these higher temps at this time of year, so don’t overdo it if you ride or work outdoors in the  afternoon when daytime temperatures peak.
