I signed up for the Colorado Tour de Cure for Diabetes. The ride will take place Saturday, August 26, 2006 starting at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, Colorado.

I've created a team (called Cyclelicious, naturally) because my wife and kids will also participate in this ride. If you read this blog and would like to join the team, feel free to drop me a line.

Every sponsor will be listed (with a link to your website if you want) in the left sidebar through the end of August. Cyclelicious currently receives over 3,500 5,600 visitors per week so this isn't a bad way to get some exposure.

Limitations & stuff:

• Minimum donation is $25 if you're somebody I know; $50 if I don't know you. This is negotiable, but if you donate in February that's less than $4/month for a link for a PR5 website, which isn't a bad deal. We can also talk about sitewide and permanent link deals. Cyclelicious currently has about 600 pages of content. This will likely double by August.
• You must donate through the online American Diabetes donation form by specifically sponsoring me and identifying yourself on the form.
• If I get more than a dozen sponsors, I may move everybody to a seperate page, though early sponsors and big givers will remain on the homepage sidebar.
• No links to material that I deem to be excessively offensive. If you have any question at all, contact me first about your website.
• If linking to your selected website can in my judgement damage my site's ranking with search engines, I reserve the right to use the "nofollow" attribute in the link.
• I can only list your details if I know something about you, so I need good contact info. That means you must leave a good email address with the ADA when you leave your online donation.
• If I die or go broke or something else beyond my control happens resulting in the demise of this website, I obviously won't keep your link up. If web page PageRank diminishes or goes away, I owe you nothing. Conversely, if PageRank goes up this spring then that's an extra bonus for you.
• You are not buying links from me because I don't see any money -- it all goes to the American Diabetes Association and I'm putting the link up as a favor to you.
