Check out this wooden bicycle hub made by CED, a one man fabrication shop.
This wooden hub might go well with one of the wooden bikes that will be at NAHBS, like the handcrafted wood bikes from Sylvan Cycles or Renovo.
CED is one of the exhibitors this weekend at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Richmond, Virginia. Pre-show ticket sales are more than double the previous attendance record set in Portland, OR in 2008.
(Not free) Bicycle valet parking at NAHBS
With large crowds expected at the show this year, attendees are encouraged to visit the show on Friday and Sunday, rather than Saturday, which is usually the busiest day. For those that wish to travel to the show by bicycle, which is encouraged too, the show provides bicycle valet parking for $2.
Watch Cyclelicious for plenty of yummy NAHBS coverage from Virginia residents Heather and Ed this weekend.
See what you learn reading Cyclelicio.us? I was wondering about bike parking options. Thanks for the intel Richard. I'm looking forward to sharing NAHBS vignettes and mini profiles of the artisan frame builders for Cyclelicio.us readers' vicarious enjoyment. And no valet parking needed!
Nice hub. Hate the new layout on the blog, though.
@Jon, That's the feedback I want. Is there anything specific about the layout that's annoying? Text too small? Too many categories in the sidebar? Thanks!
nice! i like it!
