Madsen announced their new cargo bikes for 2011.
Madsen designers sought and received input from their customers on how to improve their fabulous big bucket bike. They made these changes for the 2011 edition:
* A more upright riding geometry;
* Cushier saddle;
* Stronger, more durable steel frame;
* Lower gearing to enable your cargo bike hillclimbs;
* Built in front lock;
* Parking brake;
Jared Madsen talks about these and other improvements — such as the Made-in-USA bucket — in this video.
Although Madsen does not have a booth at Interbike, Jared Madsen is in Vegas with bikes and asks that you contact him if you’d like to take a look.

when you getting one of these to test?
How do those handle – the Europeans versions tend to go the platform or bucket on the front?
I haven’t tried the Madsen myself, but Austin On Two Wheels has a good review and mentions the handling is good, comparing favorably to bakfiets.
