A couple of guys in Brooklyn plan to build a mobile swimming pool that’s pulled by bicycles.
Dean and Darren are experienced bike hackers with a team of mad scientists and engineers to help them in this effort. They’ll build a mobile pool party to roll into various Brooklyn neighborhoods with jambox and BBQ, inviting passerby to join them for a dip and a dog.
Lest you visualize a group of cyclists pulling a 5,000 pounds worth of sloshing water, the plan is to pull an empty trailer then fill it up from a hydrant in a neighborhood. Did you know that New York City firemen will open hydrants on hot summer days?
Their Kickstarter video has the details if you’d like to help out.
=v= Excellent! Now where did I put my triathlete swim trunks?
