Joe Silva works in the city manager’s office, and he rides a Batavus bike to his office at City Hall.

Silva tells me he paid $100 for that bike from somebody off of Craigslist. “Was it stolen?” I asked, but he says he bought the Batavus from a guy who bought the bike in Denmark but no longer wanted it.

I met Silva as Lady Fleur prepared to shoot him at City Hall. She takes pictures of well dressed people she sees on bicycles around Silicon Valley and posts them to her blog. She rides a bike to work in heels and office attire, and she’s not the least bit shy about showing off her legs.
