Karen Kefauver suggests gifts for cyclists over at the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Among her gift suggestions:

• Bikes lights. Karen notes they’re available at local bikes shops. I have personal experience with and can recommend anything from Light & Motion, Portland Design Works, and Nite Rider. Planet Bike is good for the budget minded.
• For the bike commuter, Karen passes along recommendations for bike bags from Ortlieb, Nashbar, Porcelain Rocket, and Banjo Brothers. I can’t recommend Nashbar, though it’s been several years since I’ve bought a Nashbar bag so perhaps modern product are better.
• Other ideas include the Jimi Wallet, a smart-phone compatible glove like the BioLogic Cipher, safety glasses, and bags from Totally Tubular Design in Santa Cruz.
