Do you remember that ridiculous sling bicycle that made the social media rounds a couple of months back? There’s now video of this “Fliz” bike in action.

Echochunk apparently recycles press release text by claiming this Fliz Bike promotes the use of bicycles in urban spaces with an “aesthetically pleasing” five point harness system that gives a “comfortable and ergonomic” ride.

Aesthetics is in the eye of the beholder, but really? We abandoned stride-powered draisines in favor of pedal powered contraptions nearly 150 years ago.
