I camped by the first set of barriers during the Men’s Pro/1/2 Cyclocross race on Saturday afternoon at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey to shoot a few photos.

I also goofed around a little and placed my GoPro Hero2 camera right up against the barriers to catch some unique footage of these racers. In the first video, the camera faces forward; in the next, the camera faced back toward the racers. I hope you enjoy them.

Today is the final day of the Sea Otter Classic and Festival. Things are winding down but there’s still an opportunity to demo bikes and watch racing. I won’t be there today, but I invite you to take a look at a unique Strava track I posted last night.
