Over 100 people participated in a memorial bicycle ride honoring Santa Cruz police detectives Elizabeth Butler and Butch Baker on Sunday morning.

Courtney Dimpel, who races for Vanderkitten-Focus and is currently training to be a paramedic, organized the ride from Aptos to Corralitos and back to show support for the families of Sergeant Butch Baker and Officer Elizabeth Butler of the Santa Cruz Police Department and bring the community together after the tragic shootings February 26th. The local paramedic community pitched in, as did several local businesses.
