Today’s giveaway: Slaying the Badger by Richard Moore.
This excellent book gives brief bios on Bernault Hinault (aka “The Badger”) and “L’Americain” Greg LeMond, then chronicles the 1986 Tour de France and the rivalry between these two fantastic cyclists.
Before the giveaway, a trivia challenge: Musician Andrew Huang of Toronto is perhaps best known for his song “Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows.”
What song about bicycles earned Huang a mention on Cyclelicious in 2012?
Update: Congrats to Everett, who answered with the name of the song I was looking for.
Be the first to comment with the correct answer and I’ll send a copy of Slaying the Badger to you. Free shipping in the USA, I’ll ship internationally but you must pre-pay with PayPal for shipping before.
If you don’t win today, I have more book giveaways in the coming days, so stay tuned!
are you referring to “songs to wear pants to”?
Chris is right: “Ma Bicyclette” is the song.
Ah, you guys are forcing a judgement call from me.
Chris didn’t name the specific name of the song, so I’m calling this for Everett. “Songs to Wear Pants To” is Andrew’s “label” name.
I was actually trying to help Chris out. Let’s start the New Year off right: please send the book to Chris. 🙂
You got me there.
Thanks, Everett.
By way of followup: Book is going to Chris. Congratulations.
