Last Thursday, Santa Cruz police posted this photo of alleged bike thief and “probation allstar” Egmidio Anderson on their blog.

The police blogger wrote that Mr Anderson was in possession of “a blue Peugeot bicycle with thin racing tires and a snazzy new seat. We’re not convinced he owns the bike.”

The very next day, the SCPD blog reports that owner saw his bike and was able to recover it after he was able to prove ownership.
