The next time you hear somebody saying “I’m bored there’s nothing to do around here” point them to this page! Even if they’re not within bike / transit / walk distance of these events in the San Francisco Bay Area, these are all events organized by young adults with little money but a lot of imagination and drive.
Inaugural EAST BAY BIKE PARTY is TONIGHT, 9 PM Friday May 21 2010 starting at Frank Ogawa Plaza and riding to Berkeley and back.

The San Jose Bike Party rolled through Los Gatos the other week. It “snarled traffic” on Santa Cruz Avenue. I wonder how they tell, since traffic on Santa Cruz Avenue through Los Gatos is always snarled. (more…)
