-- Jun 25 2024 2:19PM [1] Someone has severely damaged the double-wide vehicle gate separating the SR-91 W/B Coal Canyon turnaround from the bike/hiking path on the north side of the freeway. Hinges are broken and locks/chains have been cut. It looks like a vehicle unsuccessfully attempted to ram it. I was able to temporarily secure it with a shortened chaing and CalTrans lock but it needs to be inspected and repaired to keep cyclists/hikers from entering the freeway right-of-way
