A gas station owner in northeastern Japan uses a pedal powered pump at a ruined gas station.
The electrically powered gas pumps are wrecked, but the underground tanks still hold gasoline. Using a bicycle powered fuel pump sent from a farmers’ cooperative in Kyota, service station employees pedal away for fuel delivery.
