Remember to “Spring Forward” with Daylight Savings Time This Sunday as the first Sunday Streets event for 2010 in San Francisco takes place this weekend from 10 AM to 3 PM on March 14 on the Embarcadero.
This year marks the third season of “Sunday Streets” in The City. The entire 3.3 miles of the Embarcadero from AT&T Park to Fisherman’s Wharf will be closed to motor vehicle traffic. There’s some light rain today, but the weather should be pleasant this weekend.
For activities, map and Sunday Street details, visit Sunday Streets SF.
Murph is looking for somebody to ride with him from Noe Valley to the Embarcadero.
You can’t easily driver to Sunday Streets (and it kind of misses the point anyway, I think), but you can take BART to Sunday Streets. Caltrain also stops just a couple of easily walkable blocks away from the Embarcadero (even if Google Maps bicycling directions can’t figure out how to get you to AT&T Park from 4th & King).
Bike North Panhandle says be there.
The Embarcadero bike lanes aren't showing up either!
@Steve, Google Maps shows me green lines on the Embarcadero (indicating bike lanes), as well as the dark green line of the adjacent side path.
