Vilnius Mayor wins Ig Nobel Peace Prize

Do you remember remember the mayor of Vilnius, Lithuania who ran over cars parked in the bike lane with an armored vehicle?

Arturas Zuokas wins the 2011 Ig Nobel Peace Prize “for demonstrating that the problem of illegally parked luxury cars can be solved by running them over with an armored tank.”

Via Bob. That is all.

I thought *that car*,specifically was a big PR stunt and was owned by someone who donated it. I mean…. it wasn’t a Ferrari…. it was a late 80’s/early 90’s Mercedes..?

Yeah, it was a PR stunt using a junker and an actor as the driver of the car.

I like this website, the style is awesome and really easy to follow. Did you download a theme you found online or get it custom developed? I really like how your comments are laid out as well.
