Cowgirl Bike Courier, Lady Fleur, and Cyclelicious are collaborating on a “Why We Bike” photo project to show people who bike around downtown San Jose and the reasons you all bike. We’ll meet this Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 5:30 PM with our cameras and clipboards, and we’d love to see you there.

For our first attempt at this last weekend, we tried to stop random people on the streets and sidewalks to show the diversity of cyclists around downtown, but it turns out some of the more interesting characters really don’t like to have their photo taken.

We still plan to ask random people, but we’ll be happy to shoot you as well. Show up on the Paseo de San Antonio pedestrian mall and look for the dorky people with clipboards and bikes between 3rd and 4th Streets near iMinusD and Philz Coffee. We’ll ask you to write why you ride on a piece of paper and hold it up with the photo. We’ll be there until about 6:30 or maybe a little later. Photos will be free for you to use for any purpose.
