Happy USA Bike Month, all!
Tom Boonen has proved to be too fast on the road, and will now have to get around on just his bike for a while. The QuickStep rider was clocked driving at 120 km/h in a 70 km/h zone in Mol, Belgium last Thursday night, and as a result has lost his driving licence for 14 days. The police confirmed that they caught the former world champion in a radar trap.
120 km = 75 miles, 70 km = ~45 miles. Read more at Bike Radar.
Wow.
If only it were that easy in the US to get people to have to stay out of their little cars for 2 weeks… not the end of life, but a bunbite and two weeks where the rest of us are a little bit safer (welp, except that 'round here they'd just drive anyway… it would take time for the culture change – but hte only way to do it is to do it)

Yes, wow, he has a conscience. Can you imagine an auto driver in the USA saying "wrong is wrong, I have no problem with that" after getting his ticket and losing his license to drive for 14 days? In our country, even cutting off another driver may get you shot.
Add another slogan: You Go Tom.
