Colorado Governor Bill Ritter touched wheels with another cyclist this morning, crashing and breaking a few ribs.
The road cycling enthusiast was out for his morning group ride at 6 AM when he collided with the other cyclist, sending both of them to the pavement. The other cyclist injured his wrist. Ritter’s road bike is reportedly damaged and needs repair or replacement. Denver this morning had clear skies with just below freezing temperatures at 6 AM; Ritter’s winter cycling clothing kept the road rash to a minimum.
