The Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) continues to collect bike ride data for planning purposes in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties, California. If you ride in these counties, I encourage you to log your rides.

You can log your rides either by manually entering them into the Cycletracks website, or by downloading the Cycletracks Anfdroid or iPhone smartphone app. This is the same app published and used by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which has agreed to shared Monterey Bay region data with AMBAG for their use.

AMBAG will collect data through the Fall of 2014. Log your rides so transportation planners know where people go by bike in this area.
