Fire up your flux capacitor, boys and girls. Next week’s San Jose Bike Train rolls on October 21, 2015 — the day Doc Brown, Marty McFly and Jennifer Parker travel in time from 1985 in their Mr Fusion powered flying DeLorean Time Machine to present-day Hill Valley, California.

San Jose Bike Train rolls on the first and third Wednesday of every month to encourage people to try commuting by bike at a casual pace that’s much slower than the 88 MPH required for time travel. We depart 8 AM from Diridon Station in San Jose, traveling along the Guadalupe River Trail for destinations north along the North First Street / Guadalupe Freeway corridor.

Lady Fleur suggests “What would you wear in 1985?” as the theme for this ride. I wish I still owned the 80s Centurion bike that I rode in college!
