People for Bikes published an infographic to highlight some of the findings from their 2014 U.S. Bicycling Participation Study.

Among the myths: People who ride bikes are white; People who ride bikes are rich; People who ride bikes are fearless; People who ride bikes are men.

These are important points both for policy and public perception. I’d like to discuss a few of these in a little more detail but that will have to come for later. A little bit of discussion at PeopleForBikes.org.
