“Gonna ride my bike until I get home…”

“The Bike Song” by Mark Ronson features Scottish singer Kyle Falconer from indie rock band The View and American rapper Spank Rock.

The guy in the orange outfit with the big hair is Kyle Falconer. Ronson is the serious dude with white hair. Ronson’s girlfriend, Josephine De La Baume, rides a white bike in the short white go go dress. Spank Rock wears a blue suit while riding a blue bike.

For the benefit of those outside of the United States, we had our token holiday honoring American socialist heroes this last weekend. I hope your Labor Day Holiday went better than mine. I spent much of it in bed recovering from a vicious sinus infection.

What little time away from the bed was spent enjoying the gorgeous California coast. Thanks to all of you who messaged, emailed and otherwise contacted me to let me know that the website was down over the weekend, but I was offline until Monday afternoon. My wife and I had a lovely, relaxed bike ride into Santa Cruz, where we enjoyed a long walk on the beach. I finally met Wade of Spokesman Bicycles; I also ran into Bennett (of the 42 Below ride fame) and saw him for the first time, I think, without his baseball socks.
