Early this morning, Peter Colijn picked up a Bay Area Bike Share bike from the Civic Center station in San Francisco and biked 47 miles to Mountain View.

Bambike in the Philipines

Filipino-American Bryan Benitez McClelland makes bamboo frame bicycles in Victoria, Laguna, Philippines. Bikes are available as frames and built-up bikes. The Bambike website has a single speed, mountain bike, and beach cruiser model available. They mention duties for USA so I imagine they ship to America.

Santa Cruz bike theft suspect caught on shop video

A customer at Epicenter Cycling in Santa Cruz, CA reports his 2010 Stumpjumper FSR was stolen from the back of his truck last week. Shop provided image captures showing the suspect vehicle, a 2000s gray Grand Marquis with dark tinted windows. Via the MBOSC mailing list.
