Dr. Ed Farrar seriously injured in head on collission

Orthopedic surgeon and cycling enthusiast Dr. Ed Farrar was seriously injured while riding his bike in Wenatchee, WA when a motorist crossed the center line and struck him head on. Farrar is hospitalized in serious condition with spinal injuries.

Dr. Farrar, the father of Garmin Chipotle racer Tyler Farrar, helped found the Wenatchee Velo Club and blogs about cycling, fitness and health while also dispensing free advice to cyclists with medical problems.
