    The adults are in no danger of hitting their heads on anything! Helmets are absolutely unnecessary for people riding like that.What's dangerous is the position of those child seats. What's foolish is riding a bike with kids that small. A good example of those who believe they must be able to do everything, all the time.

Consider that Tori's head is about 4-5 feet off the ground. If she went down, for whatever reason, her family would have wished she had been wearing a helmet.

    A runner's head is 5-6' off the ground. Where's the peer pressure to make THEM wear helmets? Consider statistics. Forget the fourth grade gravity demo with the watermellon. Real life is a bit more complex than that.
