The San Jose Taiko drum ensemble were a nice treat a last night’s bike party!
Once again, thousands of people on bikes hit the streets of San Jose. We were joined by San Jose District 6 Councilman Pierluigi Olivero, shown here with SVBC guy Carlos Babcock.
Pierluigi and the SVBC passed out free bike lights from Planet Bike for last night’s theme “Hot August Lights.”
I met Mauro of Masterworks Wood & Design with his handmade wood laminate cruiser bike. More on him later, but he says he’ll be at the Shorty Fatz booth at Interbike next month if you’d like to check out his work.
I had a new experimental Bike Party camera rig all set to go, but I forgot the camera battery. Hence the lousy P&S photos instead of my usual collection of lousy DSLR photos…
