Life Cycles: A film about a bike

“Life Cycles” tells the story of a bicycle from its creation to its eventual demise.

The teaser looks interesting (it appears to begin with a shot of the infamously toxic red mud from which all aluminum bikes are birthed), but I’ve yet to find a real description of the movie beyond “epic,” “stoked” and “cinematographic masterpiece” at Pink Bike, which helped produce the film.

In the Santa Cruz area, “Life Cycles” shows Thursday night, October 28, 2010 at the Aptos Cinema on Rancho Del Mar at 7 PM. Tickets are available at Epicenter Cycling on Soquel Drive for $10, or at the door for $12.

H/T to Mark Davidson. Official film website is here, but that’s frustratingly low on content and high on self platitudes. Grrr….
