In the TV show Men of a Certain Age, “Terry” (Scott Bakula) is the slightly flighty, slightly rumpled guy who can’t hold a regular job. He rides a bicycle to work. His friend “Owen” (Andre Braugher) owns a car dealership. He’s also stressed and diabetic.
Owen gives Terry a job at the dealership and tells him at a staff meeting to “lose the bike.” Video clip below, though it’ll only work for a couple of days.
