Oaklavía – Oakland’s car free open streets event – Sunday, June 27, 2010 – 10 AM to 2 PM – Uptown + Jack London Square + West Oakland.

Walk Oakland Bike Oakland invites you to play in the street during Oaklavia (pronounced “Oak la vee ya”), in a city wide block party inspired by Ciclovia and San Francisco Sunday Streets. The two miles of streets closed to traffic and open for play will be Washington Street from Jack London Square to 10th, then Broadway to Telegraph, then back over to Broadway at 19th up to Grand Avenue.
