Do you remember that brand new picture book on women and bicycles in Paris?


Paris: Women and Bicycles

The photographer for that book, Gil Garcetti, will be at a public reception and photo exhibition TOMORROW NIGHT Thursday, June 17th, 5:30 – 7:30, at the Santa Monica Annenberg Community Beach House on PCH (just north of Wilshire Blvd. The event is hosted by the French Consul General’s office and the city of Santa Monica.

Trivia (to me): Mr Garcetti worked in the LA County District Attorney’s office for 32 years, 8 years as the DA. He’s famous for prosecuting OJ. According to Biking In LA, his son is on the LA City Council.
