I’m waiting for WCBS New York political correspondent Marcia Kramer to explain how bike lanes contributed for the horrible bombing in Oslo, Norway today.
Ms Kramer recently exposed the insidious threat posed by bike riding terrorists while reporting on proposed bike lanes that would pass near the Israeli consulate on 2nd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Something like 50,000 cars, taxis and trucks — all of which can transport bombs much larger than anything a smelly bike jihadist could pack into his bike basket — pass in front of the Israeli Consulate every single day. Kramer suggested that adding bike lanes to the busy avenue just might encourage a would be terrorist to pack a bicycle with explosives to wreak havoc against the enemies of Islam.
Here’s a Google Streetview of the area in front of the Norwegian government offices where a large bomb damaged several buildings and seriously injured or killed dozens of people. Note the bike lanes!

The reports I’ve read so far say police suspect a car bomb in the attack. If that’s the case, I’m waiting for Marcia Kramer’s proposal to ban cars and trucks from 2nd Avenue because of the terror threat they pose.
Update: Like every terrorist attack on US soil besides 9/11, one of the lead suspects is a home grown Caucasion boy.
I’m surprised that she hasn’t figured out a way to correlate Critical Mass rides to the critical mass required in a controlled explosion.
Bike bomb? Seriously?!!!
Bike bomb? Seriously?!!!
That’s brilliant.
My condolences to the people of Oslo.
That is one Grand Canyon-sized leap she’s making. I don’t think the late Evel Knievel or his son could make that jump.
Now I’m confused. I was under the impression that the 9/11 terrorist attack on US soil was also instigated by “home grown Caucasian boys”.
