SF Mayor Ed Lee rides a bicycle

San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee got himself a bicycle for official use to supplement his other official vehicle: a plug in Chevy Volt.

Lee’s predecessor, Gavin Newsom (who was named “Clean Vehicle Champion” by the American Lung Association last year and who now sits in the Lt Governor’s office), variously drove a Lincoln Navigator or Chevy Tahoe SUV Hybrid for his official duties when he wasn’t riding SF Muni incognito.
