Kent writes a blog post about Trek’s Allant commuter bicycle earlier this week, and suddenly I see a spike in search results landing on my Flickr photo page of the Trek Allant.

    Aside from the oddly straight forks and the gear setup that looks EXACTLY like my Columbia Sports 3-speed down to the frame geometry. I even put a similar seat on. If I saw this in a shop I’d immediately be drawn to it.

    (Yes, I have a girl’s bike.)

    I thought all of the transportation bicycle searches ended up at http://www.bikesfortherestofus.com/ ? I have to admit that I looked up recent changes to the Allant after reading Kent’s post.
